Cragside Bridge

We spent a very pleasant afternoon at Cragside today. We had planned to drive the carriage drive but it was closed for maintenance work. So I drove up to the formal garden which we walked around but there wasn’t much to photograph there. The pond had an interesting reflection and part of it was still iced over.

We walked through the woods toward the pedestrian iron bridge and discovered a small wooden bridge (see extras) - this will form part of my “Bridges” project for May.
