Not blipped since the death of my friend on Saturday. He lived exactly 3 weeks after the doctors told him he had 2 to 3 weeks to live. It was still a terrible shock for us all to process. But he left a tremendous legacy on which many people will build their faith.
I bought this closed bunch of daffodils yesterday and one has valiantly come out first. So beautiful and the promise of spring.
Enjoyed making scones this afternoon with Xavier while Nikos was the drummer on the floor. Then lovely Carmela and Grace turned up, so not many scones left and a full house was a joy.
Order is now restored and is looking forward to speaking to my second daughter who is back from her sabbatical. Everyone in the same country again. Yay
