Come fly with me

When flying out of Nelson on Tuesday we passed over the top of Mapua and the Blip shows the the red roof of the wharf where the restaurant and museum are.
The water flow on the tides here is very strong there's also a sand bar at the entrance which has to be negotiated.

The flight was for Elton Johns Christchurch concert which a personal show as there was just the 28,000 of us! LOL
Having seen him in Dunedin in 2019 I thought it was a little better but that may have been down to having closer seats and the set list I preferred.
Best song at both concerts was Funeral for a friend/Love lies bleeding this is from an American concert but it is how it was on Tuesday.
