The gulls had been spreading the news that muck spreading was underway in the Low Springs pastures. 

Fragrant.

Coincidentally, four years to the day earlier.

Later, I headed over to Halifax for some football, with FC Halifax Town hosting Scunthorpe United in a televised National League fixture. A single goal from the Irons was enough to secure a win for the bottom of the table away team, their first away win in over a year.
