Went for a wander round the portrait gallery today, for the first time since the award-winning refurbishment. Saw one of my favourite modern Scottish paintings: Ken Currie's 'Three Oncologists'. Was upset that they had Jimmy Reid's bust in store and not on display. My other half and grandfather were there when it was unveiled and had a great night out with Jimmy and Kenny Hunter the artist - was sad to miss it, and was hoping to see it again.
