Greece

Thank you to jonmountjoy for sending us this picture to represent Greece in our online photo album of locations mentioned in Lorna Lloyd's Diary of the war (previously blipped in full in the LornaL journal, and now available as a podcast series).

Lorna comments on the start of the Greco-Italian war, which ran from 28 October 1940 to 23 April 1941, in two diary entries in late 1940: on November 4th and November 12th. You can listen to her commentary in Episode 7 of our podcast series.

Currently only one photo remains in the pipeline for this journal. Unless we manage to source shots to represent the places in the list below, the LornaLPodcast journal will be mothballed after our next post. So, if you have been meaning to send a picture to us but haven't quite got around to it, now is the time to do so.
