Dressed To Impress

There's something in the air. The blue tits are spending more and more time checking out the nesting box. They are feeding most of the day.

But the most noticeable change is the flashy new outfits. They are looking brighter, deeper colours, they've brought out their best feathers and there are some very fancy markings that weren't there before.

My favourite time of year is fast approaching.
