Day 134 of 365 - The Anglican Chapel!

Welcome to day 134 of 365 (Finished image after Editing)

The original photo was taken this afternoon at the London Road Cemetery in Coventry. The image is of the Anglican Chapel. This is one of two Chapels in the cemetery that are both Grade II* Listed buildings. The Chapel was built in a Norman style in the Mid 1800's when the cemetery was first commissioned. There is a long running debate on who designed the chapel. It was either designed by John Robertson or George Stokes, in collaboration with Joseph Paxton who was the architect of the Cemetery. The Chapel stands on top of a sandstone hill which would have been formed when the area was used previously as a sandstone quarry.

The Chapel is classed as a Grade II* listed building. The Chapel is number 9 on my list of 24 (Grade II*) Listed buildings in Coventry that I hope to photograph.

As always the shot was taken with my iPhone 5. The photo was taken using the camera App Huemore for iPhone. The original image can be found here: Unedited original Image.

First of all I used the app Camera Awesome to edit the image. The edits were made by applying the Awesomize preset to the image. Next I used the same App to apply the Slide filter, the Phoenix Egg texture and the Porthole frame to the image. Finally I used Distressed FX to add extra texture to the image using the Stirred overlay and the Lade Texture.
