Blue Cat

It's been a long time since I have done photography seriously. For this first entry I have chosen to start simple and use a common subject matter...it's not like no one's ever taken a photograph of a cat in a window before!

I call this Blue Cat not only because of the color cast, but because my cat, who is an indoor cat, spends a lot of time looking outside and I sometimes wonder what is going through her mind. I like to think that perhaps she is like the Little Mermaid, looking with longing out on a world that she is not a part of.

But then again, she's just a cat and is probably wondering how she can get to those birds singing in the evening :)
