Orchid flowers

A grey cool day today.  I had a sprint cycle class and then the Pilates class later in the morning.  In the afternoon I looked for a flower to photograph and realised that the orchid indoors is flowering beautifully.  I hadn't noticed just how good the blooms are until I moved them to face me rather than the light outdoors.

I phoned one of my friends who I hadn't contacted since before Christmas.  She is suffering quite a lot with her health so sad to hear.
