'Love Your Local Market' - campaign started today - attracting local press and lots of interest from the public too...

in the victoria centre market we had the Sheriff of Nottingham along with Robin Hood!

here they are pictured with (centre) Jack Hinds, our longest established market trader - Jack runs the very popular stall called Aladdin's Cave - selling hardware and household goods - Jack, although in his 90s now is still regularly seen at the stall and plays a very active part in the business! Hats off to Jack! much as i enjoy being at the market, I hope to be retired by the time i'm 90!
