Winter in the Taunus Hills

My mother’s carers are both feeling a bit poorly at the moment; Frau G has caught a cold, and E has pulled a muscle in her back. So I went shopping for all of them, and helped with a few chores.

From my mother’s house, you can see the “Hohe Wurzel” - a 618 m hill with a 133m high telecommunications tower. It used to be covered in dense spruce forest, but the last couple of years have reduced the forest to a few shaggy patches.
