I’ll have ‘the ½’ if it comes up for sale

Impromptu decision to take train to Winchester. Don’t think we’ve been since pre-Covid.

First Flat Whites at Coffee Lab - turned out the Barista has worked in Boscanova (one of our faves in Boscombe).

Up and down the High Street, and side streets.

Thought we’d seen all of Winchester previously - wrong! Discovered a new route:- down to the Weir/River Itchen and along the banks, turned off round the side of the Cathedral. Then ‘lost’ in narrow streets (around Canon Street) of charming 17/18th (?) Century beautifully maintained terraced houses. Took the photo of this smart period door in St Swithun’s Street - someone likes Harry Potter Books?.

Found a bus to the station at the back of M&S. Had enough by then. Now returning home on train. 10,500 steps weary.
