Curlew on the marsh

It was a glorious sunny start to the day and I went to a place near the coast to try and get a curlew before they head to the moors for their breeding ground. I think they are magnificent birds with a haunting call that you hear all round you while walking in the dunes and on the Saltmarsh.And I do love the teals that winter here , their feathers are so patterned and beautiful. see my extra.
