We went for our traditional post-Christmas posh meal today. Couldn’t get a table for dinner at Cor so we went for lunch instead.

Oh my lord it was delicious. The jerusalem artichoke veloute with roasted hazelnuts was particularly excellent (not pictured, already eaten), but we enjoyed every mouthful. The chicory salad (in extras) is possibly the prettiest salad I’ve ever eaten. Quite a pricey lunch (and then we stopped for an extra drink at the Standard on the way home) but such a lovely Saturday.
