Season ends

For many shoots toady (Saturday ) will have been their last day of what has been a difficult one. With bird flu having caused, supply problems and affected rearing of stock all round. A reduction of days was also a common event, at the shoot I attend these days as a driver the traditional beaters day was in doubt for much of the season. Well it did happen and I was really well looked after, driven throughout the day a placed to reduce the amount of walking on each drive to get to my "peg".  Didn't have a great deal of shooting which was probably just as well.
At home with the day catching up with me it was fishfingers chips and peas as an easy option.
