The East Side

I took a walk on the East side of the tracks this morning. This is just one of the side streets across from Damascus gate in the old city. It is a different society here yet everyone still has to get places, evryone still needs to shop and eat and have a place to live.
When I first came to Israel some twenty seven years ago, I used to work in a flower shop on the East side.
