To Oxford!

We have been thinking about having a day in Oxford for a long time and today was the day. We had to pick up Tilly the Wonder Dog from the west side of London so why not head further west and pick her up on the way back.

We were like cry and blessed to meet up with Arachne who had kindly printed a map, marked out interesting things to see and then walked us into town for an orientation. Thank you kindly Arachne! We have kept the map and will use it again, hopefully not too long from now.

We spent most of the afternoon in the Natural History Museum (blip of the ceiling from the café) and the Pitt Rivers museum next door. One could easily spend days and days and not see everything. Both museums have remarkable collections.

There’s so much to see outside the museums that we will simply have to return.
