A spring day on the Black Isle.

It was so hard to know what to blip today.I went outside with the intention of doing a blip on the garden and then got distracted by the birds, they did nt seem to mind me today and carried on their business with other things on their minds.
The bees were busy collecting pollen from the blossom, fingers crossed for fruit this year! A few butterflies flittered by,the horses were down by the house, the flowers were in full bloom and smelling lovely and the birds were singing in the heat of the sun.
Saw this Chaffinch singing in the silver birch, standing out against the blue sky.
I looked over to the other side of the Firth and saw Nairn and Cawdor covered in rain clouds so knew I had about half an hour until it reached us.Managed to do a bit more gardening until the showers came.
Sunny again now.
