Signs of Things to Come

A beautiful sunny day, though with a coldish wind. I prowled around the garden looking for signs of something moving, or at least surviving, after the frost. Some Helebores are out, but very close to the ground & showing some signs of frost damage. The best image I took was of this display of Mahonia buds, with the distant sunlit roof tiles supplying the earthy background colour.
