Peeking the Ground

This White Crowned Sparrow was viciously peeking at the ground so getting a clear photo didn't happen, but it is what it is. Ellie and I went to the library to pick up some books and she fell asleep on the way so I parked closest to the lake hoping to get some duck photos. There were no ducks at this end of the lake but I saw a few little birds on the ground. 

We went into the library when Ellie woke up and she filled the book bag with books she wanted to read. She noticed the sunset out the window of the library so we quickly went to the car to get my camera. We found limited locations where we could take a photo because of the cars going in and out of the library at that moment and we wanted to get back inside quickly because it was freezing cold. The sunset was stunning!!!!
