Tiny pieces of dried spices

Cooking day.
I like self-seasoning and don't nearly ever use spice cubes, fonds or even mixed dried ones. Not that I know how to spice well, I just like it. And the food tastes good to both of us every time ;) That's the thing, isn't it. 

(... but the secret is that I use my brain feverishly striving to be perfect in it one day;)  Don't tell anyone.)
