Arrival of the buds

It has felt really cold today, there have been nasty cold winds and we have also had rain and some sleet.  I have stayed indoors finishing off some work and only ventured out to drive Mary to her workplace and to take this quick picture of the honeysuckle in our garden.  I think honeysuckle buds are probably the first to appear round here
