In search of....

Went to seek out the buzzard that inhabits the farmland near where we live. I failed miserably in that objective.
Indeed, there was virtually no wildlife to be seen nor heard today so backing into the effort to increase wildlife diversity that is in the news. I fear, as with absolutely everything that this government seems to touch, that is more wind than substance. Throw money at things and hope, that somehow, some blindingly obvious policy and strategy will fall out the sky.

This view is the scene across the fields and is some half a mile away from where I was stood struggling to keep the 100-400mm lens with 2x converter still in the stiff cold breeze.
