Interesting Reading

Well, obviously one piece of interesting writing is the pictured book. It's the first book by this Icelandic author that I've read, but it won't be the last. I found it a little difficult to get into the book but once in I read it at an increasing galloping pace. Once I'd finished it I started reading it again, trying to find some answers to questions it left me with. After a quick re-reading I realised the answers weren't there. Apparently there is a sequel, which may bring some answers, but so far it's only available in Icelandic.
I found another piece of interesting reading as I searched for reviews of this book. It's a blog called "Tony's Reading List". Here's Tony's review of this book.
What is especially interesting about Tony's list is that there are a lot of books on it, and he specialises in literature in translation. Tony reads French and German books in the original languages and is presently working on his Korean! So if you are interested in literature and read books translated into English give him a try.
Saving the best to last, Dave and Jude arrived this evening!
