Nature Diary... Tiny little survivors

This planter has nurtured the tiny violas since late last Autumn and, despite everything the weather could torment them with, not only have they survived they have continued to produce beautiful little flowers.

A beautiful sunny day today, and with outdoor temperatures of 50F one could almost pretend the winter is over and optimistically start to check garden furniture to see what needs attention, ready for the summer.

Now there's optimism for you!
