Dw i wedi bod yn  cyfareddu gan y paentiad hwn ar wal heb fod ymhell o ein tŷ.  Tybed pam y cafodd ei wneud, beth mae'n ei orchuddio... Fyddan ni byth yn gwybod. Beth bynnag. Y bore 'ma gwnaeth e edrych fel codiad haul sgwâr.

Yn hwyrach aethon ni ein dau allani lawr i'r gored i dynnu ffotograffau ac yn gweld yr effaith o gyflymder caead.  Ar 1/30 eiliad mae'r dŵr yn niwlio, ar 1/8000 mae'n stopio. Roedd e'n beth hwyliog i'w wneud.

I have been fascinated by this painting on a wall not far from our house. I wonder why it was made, what it covers... We'll never know. Whatever. This morning it looked like a square sunrise.

Later we both went out down to the weir to take photographs and see the effect of shutter speed. At 1/30 second the water blurs, at 1/8000 it stops. It was a fun thing to do.
