I’m trying to get on top of the jobs. This morning I was in Kendal to get spare keys cut for the new front door, sort some finances and buy a car tyre pump. The journey there was stressful. Three sets of temporary traffic lights within a few miles. Queues at all and the last ones weren’t working.

I needed a coffee after I parked the car so went to Booths cafe and had a toasted teacake too.

I took the longer route home to avoid two sets of lights but encountered two others. Fortunately there was no queuing.

Two miles walked around town so I didn’t go out in the afternoon.
