My beloved Oslo - oldest commercial sign in Europe

The oldest commercial sign in Norway and in Europe
from 1909, then lit up by 800 incandescent lights,
Theodor Roosevelt was impressed when he saw it in 1910.
He could see it from the Royal Palace where he stayed.

The neon light came in 1956.
The clock is alas not totally precise: During 10 000 years it will show 5 seconds too much or too little.
