Hidden delights

This tiny meringue (about 3” across), contained a cream cheese mousse, rhubarb compote and rhubarb sorbet. It was part of a dessert course simply entitled ’Yorkshire Rhubarb’. There was also a rhubarb crumble soufflé, rhubarb tart with stem ginger ice cream, and rhubarb sorbet on a biscuit crumb. All part of my delicious birthday dinner at our local restaurant tonight to celebrate my birthday.

The diet begins tomorrow.
