We have a new family member.  Her name is Epiphany . . . or "Pip" for short.  

We are spending a few days with some friends who raise beautiful Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.  My friend, B, is an international show judge.  We have known her and her husband for over 30 years - since the very first Cavalier that we adopted, our beloved Chester.  

In September, Pip had her first litter of pups.  Unfortunately, she had a medical condition which precluded her from have any further pups.  Since we are such good friends, B asked us if we would like to adopt her.  She's just turned 4 years old.  We jumped at the opportunity to adopt her.
