Families, Histories

As you can see this is a past blip.  I chose this for today as R and H are in Vienna just now and went to the street where my mother and grandmother lived in the 1930s.  These documents belonged to the parents of the woman who came to England with her sister and worked to get them and our mother and her brother out of Vienna.  She became our Oma.  A long story which I won't even try to explain - messy (and difficult to be sure of the facts) as is so often the case in war times.  R sent me a photo which I have included as an extra.  So poignant.  They went to the Jewish Museum afterwards.
