TENS machine

Sciatica and back pain pretty bad this morning so this afternoon i got the TENS machine out. I haven't used it for ages so thought I'd try a low setting. No. 2 seemed too weak so I popped it up to 6. Ouch!
15 minutes in total (most of it less than 6) and sciatic pain gone! Still had lower back pain but to be rid of the sciatica is great. I know it won't last but even a couple of hours would have been welcome. Up to now it's about five and half hours without that nagging, horrible pain.
Since I felt somewhat better after this I ended up doing a load of cleaning - didn't bring the pain back yet so I'm buzzing.
