Steps

Down by the river (North Tyne) long ago men have been at work. I think it may have been Jim who died this time last year but who did much to enhance the fishing opportunities hereabouts over many decades. Stone steps have been laid. There are places to sit and fish. When it is deserted I’m sure an otter will come up on the bank via that gap to the water.
