Ornamental Pine Tree

Not much happening in the garden today, but this ornamental pine tree (Pinus mugo) is still showing last year's cones. In December, we cut a branch off this tree to use as a Christmas tree - it was a big success and unlike many Christmas trees, it did not shed any needles at all. Must remember that for next time.
