Painswick Rococo Garden

What a lovely day - a drive up to Painswick to meet up with several other blippers and their husband/wives. It is such a long time since Terrifo and I have met up with this group that the journey was well worth it. We got there in good time for a Breakfast bacon bap and as the others arrived the smell claimed several of them!
A lovely wander around the gardens which are displaying so many snowdrops - what a delight - and the hellebores and crocuses are starting to show as well. In a few weeks the wild flowers and wild orchids will be on show - oh, and the daffodils.
We met three very brave ladies who went for a dip I the little pool - it was about 5˚ I think..... they were smiling but did not stay in for long!
A yummy meet up back at the cafe for coffee and cake and lots more chat followed.  In my second pic is a bee.....so good to see that they re starting to wake up and do what they do.
Following Incredibish's blip yesterday and only being about 10 miles from Gloucester, Terri and I decided to pop over and see the Knife Angel for ourselves. It was by the wonderful Cathedral and we were mesmerised by all the colour changes.  A powerful image.  More knives are still being handed in  which is good to hear but . . .  why do so many carry these horrendous items??
Hopefully one of the others will be posting a blip meet members picture....
