Spring glow

This is not a particularly well-composed pic, but there is method in it!

Today was glow-day; the first day of the new year where I saw trees with that sap-rising colour change at the branch tip that precedes the fluff of early buds unfolding. This spot has a few large trees framed against the sky, so was the best point to record it.

Granted, this was probably evident earlier this week, it’s just today was the first daylight walk since last weekend :) Nice to have a record of it for comparison with future years.
