archive. Glad to find the negatives for my favourite name drop moment: the day I interviewed Sir Fitzroy Maclean in the garden of Tito's villa in Sarajevo. He had been an early member of the SAS before becoming Churchill's envoy to Tito in 1943. In 1994 he visited a younger SAS officer, Gen Mike Rose, who commanded UNPROFOR in Bosnia.
