Promising

Got a couple of new carnivorous plants at Hopetoun last week, since the old ones succumbed to the little black flies (well, their children, who eat the roots). Haven't had a pitcher plant before - this one is quite wee and only currently has one pitcher, but there's a little black bastard fly showing an interest already.

Today is my mum's birthday. She would have been 116.
