Reverie

Concert at Oran Mor. An audience of folk, mostly our age, remembering younger days.

The main event was the Bluebells, and by the end we were singing 'Young at Heart' as one.

But before that, and my blip, was Graeme Skinner and band, the singer behind one of the best Scottish albums of its time.

For a quirky reason not worth going into, I once met him when I was about six or seven, and he was the coolest teenager in the world. I tried to impress him by lighting every match in a box, one after the other. I'm not sure I made quite the same impression on him as he did on me.
