Well Loved, Looking for Home

Thursday tennis group; we're on a temporary court until the dome we've played under all winter has been stowed.

We found this next to an errant ball. Put it on the bleachers and no one gave it a second thought... except me. I kept looking out of the corner of my eye. It captivated me in the early morning light. I couldn't wait to focus my Macro lens on it. The light was better at the break of dawn, but we didn't finish for another 2 hours.

It's obviously well loved. I hope it's owner lived in one of the homes that ring the park, and will see it perched on the bleachers where we left it.
