Organ

We have just been to the Town Hall in Birmingham to see a concert given by Ex Cathedra with a programme including Thomas Tallis’ Forty part Spem in Alium, and various pieces by Byrd.
Absolutely beautiful.
The photo is of the organ which wasn’t in use tonight but was looking rather magnificent.
It’s always a bit odd for us going to Birmingham Town Hall because that is where we were  on the night the Birmingham pub bombs went off. Strange times.
