Grey Heron

There were the usual 4 Heron today along with a more nervous one who occasionally shows up but hangs too far back to be fed. The others all had a good feed. This is the passive female and one of the young males. The crest flips here seem to be more greeting than aggression. They make short grunt like noises and the crest flick is not as high. It usually means that they will tolerate each other, however that can change.
