Bit of an EB (Emergency Blip)

Met ‘G’ in the new German café in Westbourne. Pretty busy. Mr B came to collect me. He wanted to rush home to watch tennis, but we bumped into friends so he was delayed :)

Invited G for dinner as her husband was out. She gave me some surplus food - incl a big bunch of parsley - so made a fabulous parsley pesto with capers* (*made all the difference).

Mr B made a fish dish (lemon sole and cod). I had left-over hummus with braised fennel and Marmonde tomatoes* (just love them).

Been watching a Zoom meeting with, and recommended by G, about Calabria. Just finished. Shall clear what’s left of the dishes, and finish this blip.

Thanks to pinkhairedlady for today’s challenge “smooth/rough or uneven”. The glass on this salt pourer are pretty uneven!?
