I spy

“Even the ostrich, with its long neck and sharp eyes, cannot see what happens in the future”.  African proverb.
 
These ostriches have suddenly appeared in a field up the road.  They seem to be quite tame and came running  up to the fence to greet me, or rather to see if I had any food for them. I suspect the dark coloured one is a chick.
 
Given our current uncertain situation, both national and international, I thought this proverb appropriate.
PS. Not sure if they are ostriches or emus. Do you know?
