Succulents Part 5

Probably more familiar to many people than yesterday’s more exotic offering.

This is a Haworthia. A large genus of smallish succulents which come from South Africa and neighbouring territories. Many, like this one, have attractive white markings. They can be found in most garden centres and are often used as houseplants. They like semi-shade and should not be overwatered.

This is the last of the short series of blips on Succulents. But I may do a second series later in the year. It is an interesting, inexpensive and rewarding little hobby.

Mrs. K started her cold two days before me and is the first to reach recovery stage. She actually managed to sleep last night and went out this morning to collect her new glasses.
I am hopeful that I shall be fit to visit the great outdoors tomorrow.
