Sixteen Candles

In fact it could be sixty candles as the lady in the blip had her 60th birthday celebrations last summer. The candle spruces are the dominating spruce trees here in Lapland as they do not collect so much icy snow that would break their trunk in the winter months. As you can see also their tops may bend due to icy snow clinging to it. See also the extra for more candle spruces. 

Today we did 9.5 km in 1 h and 40 minutes including some breaks (several for photos, two for water). It was only -2C.
