Easedale

After checking out and trying to convince the hotel that maybe their hotel didn’t deliver on the service we might have expected from them for the price (unsuccessfully) we went to Grasmere and after a short time there decided to climb up to Easedale Tarn. It was quite steep in parts and misty along the way but we made it round in about 3 hours and it felt good to be doing a proper walk. We then drove to Bassenthwaite for our next hotel adventure. Ate in the hotel and food was good- enjoyable evening chatting to some other walkers from Wales ( but used to live in Tenterden).
