Looking Up(river) (widwed080223)

We were in Stratford this afternoon on a few errands, walking past Holy Trinity I was looking at the RSC tower framed by the trees when these two boats came along.   90% sure this is a Wednesday afternoon sports option for the pupils at the nearby KE6 school.  

As they are rowing against the current I thought that would fit with the theme for Wide Wednesday - hosted by Jensphotos.

Last night's photo talk on the Silk Road and Kyrgyzstan/Uzbekistan was fascinating.  I hadn't realised how different the two countries were.  Uzbekistan looks well worth a visit,  not entirely convinced about Kyrgyzstan though.
