Time

This clock captures the passage of an entity that forms the very fabric of our existence. Time.

While driving my father to the airport today, we witnessed an accident right in front of our eyes. Presumably the lorry driver was speeding because he had to reach some place on time.

Traveling on the expressway close to a 100 km/hr, I stopped just before the lorry because I braked in time.

The motorcyclist thankfully appeared to be alright as he got up and limped to the side. A few other drivers who were forced to stop came to his aid too. I however couldn't assist the fallen motorcyclist because my father had to catch his flight in time.

Its a harrowing experience when you, a new driver on the roads for less than two weeks, narrowly avoid an accident. Its even more harrowing when you realize that sometimes, time can be valued even more highly than human life. After all, this incident would not have happened had we not been rushing for time.
